Phillips Awarded "Character Counts" Recognition

Falls Church, VA -- The Patriot Republican Women's Club bestowed their annual "Character Does Count" award to Patricia Phillips, on Saturday, December 8. Ellen McRae presented the award to Phillips in part for her conduct in running for the 33rd State Senate seat this November. Phillips commented, "This is especially rewarding considering the lies and deceit my Democrat opponent used to secure his victory". She further applauded the "Patriot Women's Club for reminding everyone that character and integrity are still valued traits that are encouraged, recognized and appreciated in personal and political conduct."

The Annual Luncheon was attended by over 35 people and included installation of new officers: Ellen McRae – President; Mary Papadopoulos – 1st VP; Kathy Stohr – 2nd VP; Margaret Whitehead – Treasurer; Rose Marie Kling – Recording Secretary; Sherry Reynolds – Corresponding Secretary.
