New Officers Installed
December 9, 2007 –
Leesburg – Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney, Jim Plowman participated in the installation of the 2008 slate of officers for the Loudoun County Republican Women's club at their annual Christmas party on Sunday, Dec 9 at the home of Bob and Mary Alice Patterson in Leesburg.
The newly installed officers are:
President, Patricia Phillips
First Vice President, Amanda Carruthers
Second Vice President, Elizabeth Smith
Treasurer: Kristin Kalina
Recording Secretary: Ana Marie Guzman
Corresponding Secretary: Maureen Whalen
Incoming President Patricia Phillips complimented the club "for its effectiveness and organization" and expressed her "hope to continue to the club's outstanding record of cooperation and positive representation of Republican involvement and values." Phillips had recently been the Republican nominee for the 33rd State Senate District.
The next club activity will be traveling to Richmond for the annual Virginia Federation of Republican Women Legislative Day on Thursday, January 10, 2008 to be held at the Richmond Marriott.
